Day 2: Day trip to North Croatia

Early in the morning we (around 8 am) we pick you up in front of your accommodation, or agreed spot. The first stop on our daily trip is the famous Trakoscan castle. With its elevated position surrounded with the lake and forest, it is, they say, the most romantic place in entire Croatia. After visiting the castle, you will have enough free time to take a stroll in the forest or take a small boat on the lake. From Middle Ages we go into socialistic time. Small village of Kumrovec is the birthplace of Josip Broz, known worldwide as 'Tito', former lifelong president of Yugoslavia. Here you will learn how it was to live in his days, so called 'comunist' time. Around his birthplace is an open ethno museum called ‘Staro Selo’ meaning Old village, with around 20 houses from 17, 18 and 19 hundreds but, renewed in a way, in which they look new for mentioned time periods. From Kumrovec we head to ‘Tuheljske Toplice’, perfect place for relaxation and fun. Spa center with saunas, swimming pools (indoors and outdoors) wellness area, slides etc. Following the amusing end of our trip we drive directly to Zagreb.
